Whenever the media talks about Dutch superstar DJ’s they always mention Afrojack, Hardwell or Tiësto or other DJ’s that made it big on the Disney-like stages of Las Vegas. But closer to the underground, sometimes in clubs and sometimes on the festival mainstage, we find Joris Voorn. The past couple of years he has been the biggest export product when it comes to the Dutch techno community. In 2004 he already made some records Derrick May could only dream of. In the years that followed Voorn developed a kind of bigroom-techno sound that could be heard in every corner of the earth. Together with Edwin Oosterwal (together they are called Rejected) he runs the label Green where he publishes music by artists like Ripperton and Deetron.
